Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner services across Bundoora, Epping, Craigieburn and Melbourne's northern corridor. Registered NDIS provider — Provider Number 4050149990.

Behaviour Support Services Across Melbourne's North

360 Support Coordination's Behaviour Support team covers Melbourne's northern suburbs from our Bundoora base. The northern corridor has one of the highest concentrations of NDIS participants in Melbourne — and David W, our Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner and Head of Service Delivery for BSP, brings deep familiarity with local providers, allied health teams, and community services across the north.

Because our head office is located in Bundoora, our BSP team can respond promptly to referrals from the northern suburbs and maintain close working relationships with local LACs, mainstream services, and specialist providers. Early referral is recommended — waitlists can apply in high-demand areas of the northern corridor.

Behaviour Support Practitioner services are available as a standalone referral. Your participant does not need to be a current 360 SC support coordination client to be referred to our BSP team.

What Is a Behaviour Support Plan and Who Needs One?

A Behaviour Support Plan is a formal document developed by a registered NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner. It outlines the participant's behaviours of concern, the function those behaviours serve, and evidence-based strategies to improve quality of life and reduce unsafe or restrictive responses.

Under the NDIS, a Behaviour Support Plan is required where restrictive practices are in place — including physical restraint, chemical restraint (medication used to manage behaviour), environmental restraint, mechanical restraint, or seclusion. Plans must be developed by a practitioner registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Our northern suburbs service provides the full range of BSP supports:

  • Functional Behaviour AssessmentIn-depth assessment of behaviour triggers, context, and function, gathering information from the participant, family, and support workers.
  • Behaviour Support Plan DevelopmentA comprehensive, evidence-based plan with proactive strategies tailored to the participant's needs and environment.
  • Restrictive Practice Documentation and OversightAll required NDIS Commission documentation for regulated restrictive practices, including monitoring and reduction planning.
  • Carer and Support Worker TrainingPractical, in-person or telehealth training to ensure strategies are understood and applied consistently.
  • Interim Behaviour Support PlansRapid interim planning for urgent situations while a full assessment is in progress.
  • Regular Plan ReviewScheduled reviews to monitor outcomes and update strategies as the participant's needs change.

Advanced BSP Assessment and Plan Development

Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner is the highest registration level under the NDIS Commission. David W holds Advanced registration, meaning he is assessed by the Commission as capable of managing the most complex and high-risk behaviour support cases — including participants with multiple and intersecting support needs, serious mental health conditions, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injury.

All behaviour support plans are developed using a structured functional behaviour assessment process. David gathers information directly from the participant, family members, support workers, and any allied health professionals involved in the participant's care. The resulting plan is practical, implementable across all environments, and reviewed regularly to track progress.
