Level 2 Support Coordination, also known as Coordination of Supports, helps NDIS participants understand and implement their plan, connect with service providers, and build their capacity to manage their own supports over time. It is funded under Capacity Building in a participant's NDIS plan.
Level 2 is designed for participants who need moderate, ongoing support to manage their plan and providers. Level 3 — Specialist Support Coordination — is for participants with complex needs, high-risk situations, or significant barriers that require specialist knowledge and intensive coordination.
Support Coordination is funded by the NDIS and included in a participant's plan under the Capacity Building budget. Participants do not pay out of pocket if they have this funding in their plan.
