At 360 Support Coordination, we recognize that recovery is a personal journey. Our Albury-Wodonga-based psychosocial recovery coaches are dedicated to supporting NDIS participants with mental health conditions and psychosocial disabilities. By understanding your unique needs, we help you navigate your NDIS plan and connect with the right services to foster independence and resilience.
Our recovery coaches do more than just listen—they take action. They coach you through practical steps to improve wellbeing and navigate life with your disability. Key areas of support include:
Clarifying your aspirations and developing a clear recovery plan tailored to your needs and NDIS funding.
Teaching and practicing skills to manage daily challenges, such as stress management techniques, social and communication skills, or routines for self-care.
Focusing on your strengths to help you make decisions and solve problems, fostering greater independence.
Assisting in identifying, planning, and coordinating your supports to ensure alignment with your NDIS plan and other services.
Providing support during crises or significant life changes, helping you stay on track even when challenges arise.
Linking you with non-NDIS mental health and community services to complement your treatment or therapy needs.
Psychosocial recovery coaching is designed for NDIS participants living with a psychosocial disability—this includes mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia that significantly affect daily life. If your NDIS plan includes “psychosocial disability” under the Capacity Building category, you can access this service. Not sure if it’s included? Speak with your NDIS planner or support coordinator—they can help you add a recovery coach to your plan if needed.
You may find working with a psychosocial recovery coach helpful if you:
Our recovery coaches offer steady, understanding support to help you take meaningful steps forward—at your own pace.
In addition to support coordination, 360 Support Coordination offers a range of related services to meet your NDIS needs:
Support Coordination is designed to provide tailored guidance that helps you make the most of your NDIS plan. At 360 Support Coordination, we offer both Level 2 and Level 3 Support Coordination, assisting you in managing your supports, building independence, and navigating any challenges that may arise.
Our experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners collaborate with you and your support network to understand the root causes of challenging behaviours. They create personalised behaviour support plans that focus on positive approaches, skill development, and fostering greater independence in everyday life.
We make it simple to get started and stay supported. Here’s how our service works:
Reach out to us by phone, email, or online booking, or have your NDIS planner/LAC refer you to 360 Support Coordination.
We arrange a friendly meeting (in person or via phone/video) to learn about you, your NDIS plan, and your goals.
If you decide to proceed, we complete the necessary documents quickly. We can guide you to add recovery coaching to your NDIS plan if it's not already included.
A thorough intake is conducted to discuss your history, strengths, challenges, and current supports, helping us create a personalized recovery plan.
Regular coaching sessions are scheduled at times and places that suit you, focusing on your agreed recovery goals.
Every 6–8 weeks, we review your progress, celebrate successes, and adjust your plan if needed. Your coach remains available throughout your NDIS plan to ensure consistent support.
A psychosocial recovery coach is an NDIS-funded specialist who assists individuals with mental health disabilities to live more independently by providing coaching to build life skills and connect supports.
It's typically funded through your NDIS plan under Capacity Building supports. Your plan must list a psychosocial disability. You don't pay out of pocket; your coach charges the NDIS hourly rate once it's approved.
Talk to your NDIS planner, Local Area Coordinator, or current support coordinator. They can add psychosocial recovery coaching to your plan. If you already have a plan, ask them to review it. We're also happy to speak with your LAC or coordinator on your behalf.
It depends on your needs. Some people start with weekly sessions, others fortnightly or monthly. The key is consistency—we recommend regular meetings (at least monthly) to keep on track. Your coach will work with you to find a schedule that fits your plan and goals.
In many cases, yes. However, the NDIS often advises choosing a recovery coach instead of an additional support coordinator if your main challenge is mental health, since the coach can also help with planning and links to services. But if your plan is large and complex, you can have both roles under certain conditions.
Absolutely. All our coaches meet or exceed the recommended qualifications (minimum Cert IV in Mental Health/Peer Work or equivalent experience). We are a registered NDIS provider, so every coach is vetted and meets national standards.
360 Support Coordination is based in Albury-Wodonga and serves participants across the city and nearby regions. We know local services and can offer in-person support if you're in the area. We also provide phone/video sessions when needed.
Conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other conditions that significantly impact daily living may qualify. You must have a diagnosed psychosocial disability that affects functional capacity.
Yes, your coach can help you prepare for and navigate mental health crises. While not a substitute for emergency services, they offer essential support in coordinating care and accessing crisis services when needed.
No formal referral is required. You (or your family/support team) can contact us directly. We'll guide you through the intake process, including how to add recovery coaching to your NDIS plan if it's not already included.
